Gender Balance in Finnish Listed Company Boards and Executive Teams

In our third research report in December 2024, we wanted to look at both stock-listed boards and executive leadership teams. Our hypothesis was that we need to have female leaders growing into wider responsibilities in order for truly gender balanced boards to become a reality.

We wanted to encourage everyone to take part in improving gender balance:

   1. Boards and CEOs in timely succession planning

   2. CEOs and CHROs in finding more sponsors for female leaders as well as customised career paths, specific training and wider P&L roles

   3. Executive search consultants attention to equal and transparent recruitment criteria and process and truly diverse lists of candidates
